About the Division
Our mission is to safeguard life, limb, health, property, and public welfare by inspecting buildings, structures and construction sites for compliance with local, state, and federal laws. These laws regulate and control construction, quality of materials, use and occupancy, location, and the maintenance of structures within the City of San Luis.
We also strive to maintain a comprehensive program to facilitate a more proactive role through code enforcement to establish clear policies and procedures which will resolve violations of the various code enforcement practices and procedures. We actively work to eliminate hazardous situations including trash and debris around homes and on empty lots.
