San Luis, Arizona — Today the city of San Luis announces the selection of Joselyn Medina as the new Public Information Officer/ Assistant to Council. Mrs. Medina will lead the City’s efforts to keep a close relationship between Mayor, City Council and its residents and will empower communication between the City and the media.

“Joselyn will be a great asset to the City and will do great as our PIO,” said Mayor Gerardo Sanchez. Mrs. Medina brings 10 years of experience in office management. She worked for 5 years for Arizona Western College where she was part of the College Migrant Program for 2 years and 3 years for Arizona Western College in San Luis. She has also worked for Bose Corporation as part of the Quality Department.

The City of San Luis went through an extensive search where Mrs. Medina was the top candidate. “I am excited and honored to be selected as the City’s new PIO/Assistant to Council,’ said Medina.
