San Luis, Arizona — The City of San Luis Senior Center hosted its traditional Mother’s Day Celebration today. The center provided senior citizens with a succulent meal as well as live music and a gift for every senior mother that attended the event.
Aracely De La Hoya, Director of the San Luis Senior Services Department, enthusiastically shares her passion to serve her own community by making a difference in the lives of our senior citizens.
On Mother's Day, we celebrate those who are the first to welcome us into the world; they are our first role models and earliest motivators. Mothers balance enormous responsibilities and shape who we become as adults, their lessons guiding us throughout life. Mothers have always moved our Nation forward and remained steadfast in their pursuit of a better and brighter future for their children.
“This event is our way to honor and thank all the extraordinary women who have dedicated their lives to help us become who we are today” said Mayor Sanchez.
Our country's mothers deserve our unwavering support throughout our community. That is why The City of San Luis Senior Center dedicates this celebration as a public expression of love and reverence for all mothers.
