San Luis, Arizona — San Luis City Hall offices will be closed in observance of Independence Day on Thursday, July 4, 2016. Offices will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Emergency and law enforcement services will remain available.
Residents will be able to access the following services:
• Police Department, in case of an emergency please dial 9-1-1. For non-emergency situations you may contact them at (928) 341-2420.
• Fire Department, in case of an emergency please dial 9-1-1. For non-emergency situations you may contact them at (928) 341-8551.
• For Public Works Department emergency situations (i.e., water and sewer service emergencies), please call the Police Department at (928) 341-2420.
Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from Great Britain.
In honor of Independence Day, the City of San Luis and its sponsors are hosting the annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration on Monday, July 4th. Spectacular fireworks will be displayed at Joe Orduño Park, located at 966 N Park Avenue, in San Luis, Arizona. The free event will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Residential trash collection will change that week due to the holiday. Monday and Thursday route will be collected on Tuesday and Thursday Tuesday and Friday route will be collected on Wednesday and Friday
As a reminder, if you need to make a utility payment, you can pay online at www.xpressbillpay.com or at the drop box located outside City Hall’s lobby at the main entrance. Please remember checks or money orders only – no cash, please. All payments will be posted the following business day.
