San Luis, Arizona — The City of San Luis is proud to announce the arrival of its new fire fighter truck. This purchase was approved by council this year and yesterday was its first day in service. The City of San Luis’ intent is providing the required aid in case of a fire. The City now has a total of three fire fighter trucks in service.
“This is a great addition to our existing fleet as this new truck is equipped with the latest and greatest technology” Said Mayor Sanchez. “As The City of San Luis continues to move forward, the city’s administration is looking for more ways to improve services provided to the community and this new fire engine is a great example” He added
The new fire engine will allow the Department to provide better service with advanced firefighting technology that will benefit the residents of the City of San Luis. This new engine includes 1250 gallons per minute pump, chain saw, 750 gallon water tank, thermal image cameras, mobile radios, mobile data computer, cardiac monitor and much more. The total cost for this unit was $653,000 dollars.
