San Luis, Arizona — The City of San Luis hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the Lakin Drive Improvement Project. This project consists of replacement of the existent drainage, pavement and sidewalks. CEMEX Construction Materials South LLC began on June 27th, 2016 and is expected to take less than four months to be completed.
The total investment cost is $512,629 dollars, including a Department of Housing of Arizona grant and City of San Luis funds.
“For The City of San Luis and the City Council it is extremely important to support projects for street improvements that will help many residents that have lived in this area for many years” said Mayor Sanchez “I thank the Community Development Department as they have worked diligently to obtain funding in order to save general fund monies that enable other infrastructure projects” he added.
