[ARCHIVED] THE CITY OF SAN LUIS IS 4TH SAFEST CITY IN ARIZONA, 2018

San Luis, Arizona — The City of San Luis has been named the 4th safest city in Arizona by the National Council for Home Safety and Security.  The safest cities annual ranking report is based on crime statistics provided by the FBI.  The City of San Luis has ranked in the top ten safest cities in Arizona for the past three consecutive years; in 2016 and 2017 by SafeWise. 

Low crime rates and good schools are two significant factors that determine quality of life for residents.  “With a population of nearly 32,227, our violent and property crimes are substantially low. Thank you, San Luis Police Department, staff, and residents for helping our city remain safe!” said Mayor Gerardo Sanchez.
