San Luis, Arizona — In honor of Veterans Day, the City of San Luis would like to highlight all veterans from San Luis.
Starting Friday, November 9, 2018, the City of San Luis would be recognizing all residents who have served in the United States Armed Forces. This recognition would be done through social media and on the scheduled Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, where Mayor Gerardo Sanchez would be naming those residents who have served or are currently serving.
Recognition on social media will be from Friday, November 9, 2018, to Tuesday, November 13, 2018.
We are asking for veterans or their families to share with the City of San Luis images of the person, along with a summary of what branch they served/are currently serving and how long they have served.
