Avenue E from State Route 195 to County 25th Street beginning Tuesday, January 20.
The project includes widening Avenue E by constructing one additional lane in each direction, building paved shoulders and providing drainage improvements. Crews are scheduled to work weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
One lane of travel will be maintained in each direction. Drivers should allow extra travel time through the work zone and be cautious for construction equipment and personnel.
The project is scheduled to be completed in summer 2015.
ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
