San Luis, Arizona — City Manager Tadeo A. De La Hoya has been serving as part of the National Association of Latino Elected, and Appointed Officials (NALEO) since June 20, 2015, and was recently appointed as Secretary of the Board.
During the organization’s 36th Annual Conference in Miami, Florida, which brought together nearly 1,000 Latino policymakers and leaders from across the country, an election took place in which City Manager and Gadsden Elementary School Board Member Tadeo A. De La Hoya was elected to serve as Secretary of the NALEO’s Executive Board of Directors. Mr. De La Hoya is currently serving his second three-year term with the board.
“It is an honor to serve as Secretary of the NALEO Executive Board,” said NALEO Board Member Tadeo A. De La Hoya. “It is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with every constituent and citizen to further NALEO’s mission to empower Latinos, engage them into important decisions and have them be part of the nation’s political process.
