[ARCHIVED] Access to D Street restricted from northbound US 95 (Main Street) in San Luis

Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 28, access to eastbound D Street from US 95 (Main Street) will be restricted permanently as the project moves one step closer to final configuration. The new traffic control is necessary for crews to begin installing a new pedestrian curb and sidewalk near the intersection.

Once completed, only westbound travel will be permitted between D Street and US 95 (Main Street). Drivers are advised to begin using First Avenue to access northbound US 95 (Main Street). Business access will be maintained to adjacent gas stations along D Street.

As always, San Luis drivers should plan ahead and allow extra travel time through the work zone. Please obey all posted signs and traffic control devices.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
