San Luis, Arizona — The City of San Luis City Hall will safely reopen on Monday, October 5, 2020, with operating hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
San Luis City Hall will reopen following the COVID-19 Planned Response and Preparedness Policy in which the City of San Luis will place the highest priority on the health and safety of the public and its employees. Visitors will be asked to follow social distancing measures and will be asked to utilize a face covering at all times while in the building, including when waiting outside to enter the facility. For those visiting City Hall to conduct business, only one family member will be allowed in the lobby, due to space limitations. All residents may continue to use the payment drop box outside City Hall. Payments can also be made over the phone at (855) 314-2095 or online at www.xpressbillpay.com.
To ensure the safety of everyone, enhanced cleaning and sanitizing services will take place. These efforts include disinfecting highly touched areas like door handles and counters, hand sanitizer stations, and plexiglass barriers at all the counters. Additionally, screening questions will be asked before entering city hall to help minimize the spread of COVID-19.
“With a downward trajectory of COVID cases reported within the last 14 days, the City of San Luis is ready for its gradual reopening,” stated Mayor Gerardo Sanchez. “City staff have all worked together in ensuring the safety of our community while visiting San Luis City Hall. Let us not forget to continue to wear a mask and continue following safety guidelines to eradicate this pandemic,” he added.
While City Hall reopens, the following City facilities will remain closed until further notice:
- San Luis Senior Center
- Parks and Recreation facilities
Council Meetings will continue to be held virtually and will be streamed at www.sanluisaz.gov/listenlive.
