The February 2, 2021 Citizen Review Meeting, for the safety of the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, will not have in-person attendance for members of the public.

However, members of the public may listen to the meeting’s live audio stream on the City of San Luis’ website https://sanluisaz.gov/listenlivepz. Recordings of the meetings will be available on the City’s website https://sanluisaz.gov/listenlivepz after the meeting.

Open meetings conducted remotely through technological means are permissible under the March 13, 2020, Arizona Attorney General opinion titled, “Re: Concerns Relating to Arizona’s Open Meeting Law and COVID-19” and following the Mayor’s  March 18, 2020, Continued Declaration of Emergency and Amended Order-Coronavirus Disease-19 and City Council’s Order 2020-7 which closed all city buildings and facilities (except the Municipal Court) to public access, to protect the public health and safety and reduce the transmission of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). City Council Chambers will be closed to the public.

The city will receive public comments by email P&Z@sanluisaz.gov for Planning and Zoning consideration any time before the meeting and during the meeting, which is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. on February 2, 2021.

Conditional Use Permit No. 2021-0031:  this is a request by Alejandra Muñoz, owner, for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the construction of an accessory dwelling unit (guesthouse) as per Section 152.078 C.1 (Medium Density Residential, R1-6 zoning district) of the City of San Luis Code of Ordinance. The property is located at 115 N. Escamilla Court, PID #777-60-631, San Luis, Arizona.

Text Amendment Case No. 2020-0793 / a possible amendment or amendments to Chapter 152 of the City Code of the City of San Luis, Zoning Regulations §152.243 to amend the Required Parking by Land Use Type.

Text Amendment Case No. 2020-0794 / a possible amendment or amendments to Chapter 152 of the City Code of the City of San Luis, Zoning Regulations §152.047(D)(1) to amend the submittal deadline for Major Amendment Applications. 

Text Amendment Case No. 2021-050 / a possible amendment or amendments to Chapter 152.013 of the City Code of the City of San Luis, Definitions and Section 152.225 Medical Marijuana to provide for the regulation of Marijuana Establishments and/or Marijuana Testing Facilities, repealing conflicting provisions, sand providing for severalty.
