San Luis, Arizona – The Yuma County Health Department just informed the City of San Luis Administration that the Covid-19 vaccine shipment will not arrive on time for the anticipated Vaccination Clinic Event that was to be held this Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Cultural Center in this city.
The vaccine shipment will not be arriving on time due to extreme weather conditions currently affecting the East Coast. City of San Luis staff will continue to work diligently to ensure this Vaccination Clinic Event happens.
The new date for the Vaccination Clinic Event is Friday, March 5, 2021. Every appointment will keep the same scheduled time on this new date.
“Unfortunately, Covid-19 vaccines will not be arriving on time for our planned Vaccination Clinic Event, however I want to tell our community that we will continue our efforts to get people in South County vaccinated,” stated Mayor Gerardo Sanchez.
