San Luis, Arizona — The City of San Luis has been selected as a recipient of technical assistance through the United States Department of Transportation Thriving Community Program.
As one of the sixty-four communities that received the designation nationwide, Capacity Builders, selected by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT), will assist the city in the grant-writing process for infrastructure needs. The Thriving Communities support will help advance city projects and increase our capacity to manage major federal grants.
“Several transportation projects still need to be identified, developed, and delivered in San Luis to be selected for USDOT Thriving Communities Program will be of great assistance,” Mayor Nieves Riedel commented. “This will continue to strengthen our city,” she added.
